2S Layout Space

Remediation is beginning this week. Today will be all setup and preparations with the work starting tomorrow.  The work is expected to take 3 months, though it will possibly extend longer as there was material added to the area after the estimates were made. 

Mika will be temporarily relocating to Emily’s layout space.  Her phone will likely be placed at the volunteer cubicle on the 4^th floor HMRC suite. 

There will be no access to the layout space from stacks doors. This is critical because access from these doors will damage the partitions they have set up in the area.

No access to the elevator entrance to the 2nd floor, except to pick up materials that have been cleaned and are ready to be reshelved.  All other access to the layout space must be through the fire exit stairwell. 

Also, for now I will need staff working at the reference desk to facilitate Ann Becker’s access to the layout space.  She knows to come to the desk to ask to be swiped up. But I am working on getting her a badge so hopefully this won’t last long.
