New E-mail Reference Form

The new e-mail reference form does not have a pre-populated choice for Houston history, so be sure to encourage patrons calling about questions that need to be submitted through the form to include this in the "topic" field.

To direct a patron to the form, you can either provide the URL (www.houstonlibrary.org/email-reference), or, step by step instructions:

1. www.houstonlibrary.org

2. "Find it"

3. "Ask": "E-mail"

4. Send direct e-mail or fill out form

OR:

1. www.houstonlibrary.org

2. Select "Ask" in the upper right

3. Select the "reference form" link option

4. Fill in "Houston history" in "topic" field
