When we receive a call that requires the attention of the Special Events team (Mignonne Anderson, Yvonnette McLean). Please, provide both the number, (832) 393-1646, and email, hpl.specialevents@houstontx.gov, but do not offer to transfer the call. If the caller asks to be transferred, press the 'transfer' key and dial 31646 and wait for an answer. If you get an answer, provide as much information as possible about the call; if the call can be taken, then press the 'transfer' key again and hang up. If the call cannot be taken or voicemail picks up, please resume the call and let the caller know that no one is available and ask if would they like to be connected with her voicemail. If voicemail is acceptable, then connect the caller to 31646.
