FYI -- From the ELT Notes on HPL's IntraNet:
HPL has received permission from Mayor White to close to the public for one day in order to have a Staff Development Day. ELT is currently reviewing possible dates for this event.
Staff Development Day will allow of all staff to gather together at one time, in one place, to hear information about significant issues relating to HPL. This idea was one of the specific recommendations from the Internal Communication Committee, and we are pleased to have received permission to act on it.
